"What Will You Take With You" is a folklore inspired project focusing on burial practices, exploring the relationship between the human experience of mortality and its manifestation in the objects and textiles we choose to accompany us at the end.

This collection serves as an examination of the enduring importance of textiles within the context of culture and ceremony. Central to this project is sculptural inspiration drawing from abstract ceramics, collections of tea pots and gravestone detailing. The playful and whimsical charm of the textiles is contrasted with the underlying solemn contemplation of death.
