This project is an exploration of Irish heritage and the engrained importance of folklore and traditional craft. With reference to cattle lore, sympathetic magic and the faeries. I translated these narratives into physical textile processes inspired by the process of basketry, lace making and traditional knitting techniques.

The earthy tones reflect the natural landscape and brighter tones modernise the palette and contrast the traditional techniques used.
