Saffy McNamara is an independent knitwear designer creating playful, illustrative pieces designed in London and made in small batches across the UK.
Drawing inspiration from folklore, storytelling, and the humour that can be found in the everyday. The collections combine bold colour, graphic motifs and traditional textile techniques to create pieces with a distinctively playful character.
From knitted hats and scarves to garments and interiors, each design is developed with a focus on thoughtful production, quality materials and predominantly natural fibres. Working with UK manufacturers and producing pieces in small quantities allows her to support local making while keeping each collection considered and individual.
