Saffy McNamara is a Textile Artist with a particular interest in folklore and traditional craft, exploring the whimsical , eccentric and humerous aspects of storytelling.

Her work is inspired by narrative textiles and storytelling in its traditional visual and oral form. Creating and translating stories through tactile objects and the process of knitting, crochet and felting.

After graduating from Central Saint Martins, she received the Haberdashers' Award 2024 and is now based in Cockpit Studios, Deptford.
