Wool

Wool is an excellent material for clothing, It is breathable, and naturally resistant to odors, making it comfortable and practical for various climates. Wool is sustainable because it is a renewable resource; sheep can be shorn annually without harm, and the wool is biodegradable, reducing environmental impact. Additionally, wool production often requires fewer chemicals compared to synthetic fabrics, contributing to a lower ecological footprint

Sustainable Production

All of my products are either made by hand in my London studio or in small batches with a factory that I work closely with in Leicester. Producing in small batches reduces waste.

I also aim to source all of our yarn within the UK to support British Mills.

Biodegradable Textiles

Biodegradable clothing leaves less waste because it breaks down naturally. Unlike synthetic fibers, which can take hundreds of years to decompose and contribute to landfill pollution, biodegradable materials like wool, cotton, and linen decompose relatively quickly under the right conditions. This natural decomposition process reduces the accumulation of textile waste and promotes a more sustainable lifecycle for clothing.
